This Goldtop is a brand new 2022 USA 50's model, with a perfect full "C" neck profile, handaged by Auge Guitars in Berlin.

The guitar weights at a comfortable 4,0kgs and has a lot of movement on the mahogany back, which is always a nice thing.

It was upgraded with Area 59 plastics, the Nashville bushings were replaced with one piece nickel Nashville/ABR-posts, which in my opinion offer even more vibration transfer from bridge to body than regular historic posts.

The electronics were all remade using historic correct two braided wires, VIP matched Centralab 550k pots and Jupiter Bumblebee replicas (.15 at the neck and .22 at the bridge). With this upgrade the Custombuckers sound open and have much more definition, both on single notes and chords.
