This is a 1994 Les Paul Special Double Cut heritage cherry in a pretty decent shape for its age. There are obviously some small dings and scratches but nothing to worry about. The frets have been polished and are in great condition too. The truss rod is working perfectly.

There have been some minor modifications. The strap buttons have been replaced by locking Schaller and there is a remaining hole at the back (see picture). The flaking on the face is pretty normal for this era and nothing to worry about.

The previous owner has upgraded the pots with CTS and Hamer (they are actually better than the normal CTS) and a Russian PIO + a USA made Hovland Music Cap. He also upgraded the tuners by Gotoh vintage Kluson style locking tuners.

The pickups are indeed Gibson p90 and not the usual p100 from the era.

These 90s Gibsons are just fabulous craftmenship. It has a good balanced slim taper neck with binding and the bridge appears to be a vintage Gibson ABR-1, but the holes may have been elarged for nashville posts.

It plays like a dream, with spot on intonation.

No repairs and in great playing condition.
