This model is based on a unique 1959 Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway and was built using True Historic specs, including hide glue construction, vintage-correct plastics, and period-accurate finish and neck profile. Although Gibson initially planned to produce 300 of these guitars, due to the company’s financial troubles at the time, only 75–80 units were ever completed – making this one of the most exclusive and collectible CC models to date.

This guitar is a true Rock ’n’ Roll weapon – lightweight, resonant, loud, and alive. It weighs just 3.45 kg (7 lbs 10 oz) and rings out acoustically with tons of sustain and snap. Plugged in, the single Dog-Ear P90 pickup delivers everything from gritty, biting riffs to warm, expressive leads.
