A great-sounding late-1960s Gibson slope-shoulder acoustic, built in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Based on the serial number and construction details, this guitar dates to circa 1968/69 and has the warm, woody tone these Gibsons are known for.

  • Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays

  • Bridge changed to bone saddle

  • Narrow 1 9/16" nut width (typical late ’60s Gibson feel)

The guitar is in very good overall condition for its age.

  • Finish shows normal cosmetic playwear, including dings, marks, and scratches

  • Lacquer checking throughout, consistent with a late-1960s nitro finish

  • The lower half of the top has had repair work done

  • Top cracks near the bridge have been repaired (see photos)

  • New bridge installed, the original rosewood saddle insert comes with the guitar
