Gibson ES-335 Dot Ebony, 1990
€3 250,00
This 1990 ES-335, built in Nashville, Tennessee by Gibson, is a striking example in a relatively rare black lacquer finish. It features a laminated maple body, mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and retains its original brown tolex hard shell case including the original paperwork and even the invoice from the first owner.
The guitar has been played and naturally broken in over the years, yet remains all original and well cared for. Cosmetic wear is honest and consistent with age, although this only has some light dings and scuffs and the expected nickel hardware aging —most noticeable on the pickup covers—resulting in an authentic, unforced vintage look.
Equipped with Grover tuners and period-correct late-’50s style hardware, including Gibson PAF reissue pickups from this era. The slim, flat 1960-style neck profile feels fast and comfortable, and the original frets are still in excellent condition.
A beautifully aged, great-playing ES-335 with real character and tone. Excellent condition overall.
